Day 48 – Gold Beach, OR. to Eugene, OR.

Well there wasn’t much golden about Gold Beach last night and neither was this morning too.

So onward we go…

And on our way through some little Scooby Doo towns, we finally come across a quaint little town called Florence.

Sand Dune County!

And Yes, not only does Italy have one, so do many cities…

And an old cinema that’s took a new life as a shoe shop, an expensive one at that too.

And along the pier

And with sand dunes in the background. Now they look golden!

And don’t forget Tess!

And talking of Tess, she reached another important milestone here in Florence.

Yes, she reached 100,000 km, and here’s her coordinates..

Then just a very nice drive to the overnight hotel in Eugene, another Best Western and this one not too bad, even got to take in some more rays outside on the patio!

And Let’s hope the breakfast is good, what ya reckon?

And it’s just 2 more sleeps before we get back to Canada!
